Portfolio: YouTube Graphics

The purpose here was to design a fresh new look for the channel. Our starting point was to find colours that work well with the clients skin tone. I started by pulling a colour sample of his skin from a photo. I created a swatch, then using colour science I created a "Triatic" colour set (the original plus 3 new complimentary colours). I then generated some sample gradients and got approval for one. Then after consulting with a professional photographer I increased the saturation from 37% to 80%.

I think the end result is stunning. The intense colour palette works well with the clients skin and hair colour and really draws the eye. This was the fresh new look the client was looking for.
